Pacific Coast Kitchen, Bath & Design Center Open House| San Luis Obispo, CA | 9/5

Pacific Coast Kitchen Bath+Design Center recently celebrated their newly expanded showroom as they announced their collaboration with Interior Designer, Jan Kepler of Kepler Design. Kepler Design specializes in designing kitchens, bathrooms, home libraries, custom offices and specialty pieces. As an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Design, Kepler Design offers space planning as well as finish selections for cabinetry, countertops, flooring, hardware and plumbing fixtures.

The evening provided the perfect opportunity for K+B Designers, industry professionals, friends, colleagues and even a few past clients to enjoy the beautifully expanded showroom. The gourmet food and beverage was well received by the over 100+ attendees; all of which marveled at the Plato Woodwork product displayed. Kepler Design proudly features Plato Woodwork throughout the design center and continues to serve on the Advisory Counsel for Plato Woodwork as well.

Bellmont Cabinet Company Regional Training | Summer Tour 2013 | 7/29-7/30 & 8/5 -8/6

Bellmont Cabinet Company joined the Optima Sales Group Team and hosted a wildly successful Regional Training Tour in both the northern and southern, California territories.

The Optima Team along with Bellmont’s Director of Marketing, John Brush hit the road and hosted four separate sessions:

      Richmond | Berkeley        SFO | Oyster Point        Santa Ana | Orange County        Los Angeles | Sherman Oaks

With their Territory Sales Consultants by their side, our dealers explored the newest product offerings in both the 1600 and 1900 Series.  The afternoon was spent discussing Bellmont’s recent updates, product additions and the latest catalog enhancements. The sessions were specifically designed to educate and increase product knowledge for existing dealers, designers and sales staff associates. With more than 125+ attendees we were successful in product discussions during our working lunch sessions. The training sessions were packed with valuable content, helpful training tips, a great opportunity for group discussion and even qualified for .5 CEU’s towards NKBA certification.

BMC Design Conference| Las Vegas, NV | 7/17-7/19

The first annual BMC Design Conference was recently held at the M Resort Spa and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Vendors, Designers and Manufacturer’s Representatives were all in attendance for the highly anticipated event.

With a new and exciting approach to the industry, BMC is enhancing their traditional services and focusing on the design aspect and elements  of design as they launch select BMC Design Centers throughout the United States. The Design Centers will provide end-users the unique experience of working directly with a BMC Designer as they select products, finishes and fixtures.

The 25+ BMC Designers attended the conference which included product overview, product introduction and product knowledge training. Optima Sales Group was in attendance on behalf of both Bellmont Cabinet Company and Woodland Cabinetry. Time was spent covering the features and benefits of the 1600 and 1900 Series products while Woodland Cabinetry was also featured during the conference and provided the Designers an opportunity to touch, feel and appreciate Woodland’s quality finish and become more familiar with the most recent product offerings.

BMC’s National Director of Cabinet Sales, Dan Swanson partnered with Nancy Milstid to provide not only an organized, smooth event, but a great venue that included innovative sales training from BreakFront, a cocktail and dinner reception and a Las Vegas show at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino.

Plato Woodwork| 120th Anniversary Celebration  | 6/18-6/21

Plato Woodwork one of America’s preeminent fine custom cabinetry manufacturers celebrated their 120th anniversary this summer. The 5th generation company’s vision for beauty and passion for excellence was clearly demonstrated in the details of the week’s itinerary.

Optima Sales Group had the privilege to join the over 85+ dealers and Plato family for a week of fun and excitement that included accommodations at the all new Radisson Blu at Mall of America. A welcome reception on the Sky Bridge overlooking the Radisson Blu lobby kicked off the week’s events.

After a productive tour of Plato’s state-of-the art manufacturing facility Plato President, Karl Pinske opened his personal residence for all in attendance to enjoy an afternoon picnic. The relaxing afternoon was spent enjoying a traditional picnic feast, visiting with dealers and Plato staff members and concluded with a tour of Karl’s home that boasts the beautifully crafted Plato Woodwork product.

With opportunities to attend the Art + Science seminar featuring Ellen Cheever, CMKBD, ASID, CAPS or a Minnesota Twins game at Target Field, we enjoyed the invaluable time spent with each of our dealers and new friends. The evening carried on with the Gala Dinner in the Mall of America’s Executive Center where Plato recognized each of their dealers’ efforts, accomplishments and their many successes throughout the years.

In closing, the Advisory Council meeting was held and opened up to all Plato dealers which allowed for great discussion and feedback; something that is crucial to the continued success of Plato Woodwork. Our dealers’ input, thoughts, suggestions and  recommendations were presented and well received.
